Who are we?

The student organization "Bai Ganyo" e.V. was founded in 2004 and from its very beginning until now, it has been acting as a bridge between the Bulgarian and other cultures at the University of Mannheim. Our main goal is to facilitate the integration of international students in Germany.

We offer newcomers the guidance and support they may need at the beginning and throughout their studies. We mentor first-year students upon their arrival and organize informational meetings to assist them with a smoother and faster adaptation to university life and independent living. We believe that the exchange of experiences is the best way to ensure a successful start. The events we organize provide opportunities for socialization and the creation of new friendships.

Our organization aims to maintain the Bulgarian spirit abroad and provide a better understanding of Bulgarian culture among foreigners. Through various cultural and entertainment events, we strive to generate interest in Bulgarian traditions, folklore, and history. We believe that we actively contribute to the vibrancy and diversity of student life.
